  7. EiffelBase is a set of libraries of basic classes and is part of the ISE
  8. Eiffel 3 software development environment:  The Kernel Library covers the most
  9. common programming needs.  It consists of universal classes providing
  10. facilities which are potentially useful for all classes.  It provides fine
  11. control of the exception handling mechanism.  The Support Library provides a
  12. number of classes that extend the language and environment facilities,
  13. enabling programmers to develop advanced uses of Eiffel.  The Data Structure
  14. Library provides implementations of fundamental data structures and algorithms
  15. such as abstract structures, lists in their various forms, list elements,
  16. circular chains, etc.  The Iterators Library provides high-level templates
  17. that avoid using control structures like loops.  It facilitates writing
  18. features so that control structures are more easily modified in descendant
  19. classes.  The Winpack Library supports multi-windowing applications
  20. development on character based terminals.
